Mr. Averyt graduated magna cum laude from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, with a double degree in Accounting and English. He began his career as an accountant at Ernst & Young, LLP in Washington, D.C., where he audited the financial statements of a variety of business clients. After earning a law degree magna cum laude from the University of Alabama School of Law, he entered private practice, focusing on real estate, tax, and estate planning matters. Mr. Averyt left the traditional practice of law in 2008 to join Elyton Solutions. He currently manages the legal aspects of real estate investors’ strategies and coordinates implementation of those strategies with their respective professional advisors.
